Monamic

Monamic is a music programmer, arranger, producer and occasional songwriter who, for over 20 years, has built a large portfolio of tracks. Covering genres like: Electronic Jazz, Soft Rock; Funk; Neo-Soul; Hip-Hop/R’n’B; Urban and Reggae. His influences have come from bands and musicians of similar styles in the eras beginning from the 70s through to today. In particular, he has a passion for Cinematic and Philadelphia Soul. He has released several albums in recent years that have gained significant interest.

“..Driven by the idea of “Longevity” in each piece I create, for me, music needs to be timeless and move through generations. A lot of great music was created in the ’analog era’ and I can’t help but to transcend it to the ’digital’ one we are in today..”

Deakus D

Deakus D is a drummer, producer and songwriter, with many years of musical experience behind him. His musical vision drawers from many genres, whether it’s reggae, R&B, Pop, soul or dance, which can clearly be heard in the original and inventive drumming/drum programming heard in his music. Deakus always has and continues to strive to deliver in his own distinctive style, which is both unique and progressive. Coming from a musical family, Deakus has always said that “I feel that I was born to create music, it’s what I do, it’s what I love”. As a member of the Mad Clown Productions crew, he loves nothing more than collaborating with his team members, and also with a rich source of upcoming talent.

Tony Henry

From sound system to studio, that was my journey. My love of reggae and its basslines led me to become first a bass player in a London based reggae band, then onto recording studios and production where the additional influences of RnB, rock, and pop opened my songwriting mind. Simply put, I LOVE MUSIC!

I have often said, I am blessed. I have been lucky to have met and worked with people I consider my heroes starting with my dad who led me on my musical journey by feeding me on a diet of Caribbean vibes from Jamaica along with some great local talents who became lifelong friends. Early session and studio projects led me to work with a young lady by the name of Lorraine Chambers and we released the seminal UK Streetsoul hit ‘You’ve Gone’ which became one of those songs that crept into the psyche with demand leading to the song being re-released after 30 years. This journey led to the creation of Mad Clown Productions, a very creative, multi-talented music production team featuring Bryan ‘Deakus D’ Daniel, Monamic, and myself Tony Henry aka Bassline aka DJ Hurtz. May the journey and the good vibes it brings continue.
